So far, I’ve been very happy with my Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron’s performance. It’s still the cool ubuntu I knew last year. However, I’ve got a small complain about it. Well, let’s not call it a complain. Let’s just say that it’s “a request for improvement”. Well, actually it’s person by person request.
It’s about the Firefox 3 (Beta). I don’t know why, maybe because it’s so new that lots of firefox addons in the Net are not compatible with it. Maybe for other people it is okay. But for me, a full time blogger :D, I don’t like the fact that some blogging addons for firefox can’t work with Firefox 3 (Beta).
For example, I usually use a firefox addon called Deepest Sender for me to send blog posts to my wordpress-based blogs. However, I have found out that deepest sender is not compatible with Firefox 3 (Beta). So…. I have to visit my blogs one by one if I want to entry a post. The problem is, I’ve got 5 different wordpress-based blogs. So… it’s time consuming to visit the blog one by one, right?
So, please 1) improve firefox 3 (beta) as to be compatible with the existing addons in the Net, 2) for all addon engineers, please upgrade your addons :D.
