I just received an email from PayPerPost. The email says that my blog has been approved. Wow. Being approved in this program is one of my agendas for this month. I’m so happy with this. It’s true that I have been rejected previously. But it was all because of my fault. My blog was still to young to join PayPerPost then.

I knew this program from a friend of mine. He joined the program about four months ago and he once showed me how one of his posts got approved and he got $ 20 for that in his paypal account. Wow, man! That’s great. Writing a short review about a product or a website to get $ 20 is great is a great thing. I told him, “Okey, Man, I’ll sign up for the program and I’ll show you that I can also get some money from blogging.”

And now, with my approval, I’ll try to prove that actually I can also earn some money from writing a review.

Actually, I’ve got my own plan with the money (which I hope will come to me in no time). I want to buy a Computer Assisted Translation Tool that costs around $600. I do hope by writing a lot and well, I can get some money each week. And if things happen like what I expect it to happen, I think I can get that $600 in two months. Let’s see what I can do. Just pray for my success in PayPerPost, okay?

I think I’ve started to enjoy firefox more than I used to. When a friend of mine showed Flock for the first time and I knew that it has a special addon that makes it possible for us to send our writing into our blog(s) in one hit, I became amazed. And I started to leave Firefox ever since. However, soon enough I found that Flock eats up lots of hard drive space (and my laptop is not “spacious” enough) and takes a bit long time to start, I got back to Firefox (although I actually didn’t want to leave its blog-friendliness and its addon that shows us whether we have a new mail in our inbox (gmail or yahoo or else).

However, I then realized that actually Firefox is a rich browser. I tried to search addons for Firefox and I found Deepest Sender, the addon that sends my writings (including this one) to my blogs. However, since there’s some time parse error, I still cannot send writings directly to my blogger blog, it would only be cooperative to blogs other than blogger. For my other blog that uses WordPress, I don’t find any problem. And, another good thing is that I also find an addon called Gmail Notifier, which notifies whenever we get a new message in our inbox. So, now, I find the most valuable services a browser can ever give.:D Hehehe…

Hello fellow Greatly Reviewed!!! readers,

This time I’d like to share my story. These few days, I’ve played a lot with a free webhosting. It’s called 000webhost. Actually I knew nothing about cPanel (although in fact I translated a cPanel manual for my friends in the university where I’m working. I knew and used cPanel for the first time when I joined the above mentioned site.

Later, I tried to know more and more about it. And today, with that freehosting that provides 250 MB of disk space and 100 GB bandwidth, and promise of never closed down their servers–it’s their own server and they’ve been in paid webhosting business for four years–I finally bought some cheap domains for myself and for my friends.

Well, if you wanna know more about this freewebhosting (NO ADS WHATSOEVER!!!) just come here http://www.000webhost.com/38031.html and buy yourself a domain and register yourself. Okay?

Yeah, I gotta say this to thank them, guys. It’s quite expensive to have our own hosting, and this one is really helpful.

Man, I don’t wanna play a know-all guy tonight. But, I just can’t resist the temptation to share what I’ve got in mind. I’ll tell you my tiny experience preparing a website for my translation agency. They translation chief asked me to make a website for him a month or two ago. I am not a designer myself, and still worse, I’m just a CMS webmaster (hehehe…. okay, Eko, happy now? hahaha…). However, WordPress flashed into my mind at that time, and then I said “Yes, let’s see what I can do.”

Later, I after some peek at the cPanel, I saw that it has fantastico delux. So, following a friend’s direction, I directly installed the WordPress. Oh man, it’s WordPress 2.5, the latest version. Okay then, everythings gonna be better, thus I said to myself.

After selecting business themes, I decided to use a Rockinblue20. Satisfied with the look, I then started making pages, not posts. Everything is easier with WordPress 2.5. Then, after determining my first page as the home, I went into the file called header.php. I cut <li class=”page_item”><a href=”http://transbahasa.net”>Home</a></li> and then I paste it after <?php wp_list_pages(’title_li=&depth=1′); ?>. With this, I can move the link Home to behind other links to pages (or page titles). Since I wanted to use this link as a link to my blogposts, I then replaced the text home with blog and then I modified <a href=”http://transbahasa.net”> into <a href=”http://transbahasa.net/?p=””>. With this, I can have a link to my blogposts.

So, if you wanna see the result of my humble effort, :D, please click here.

I just did another wordpress, oh no, not another, buat several wordpress installation on my free hosting. Two months or three ago, when I first knew the free hosting provider www.000webhost.com, I could only find one site software menu in its cPanel. With this menu, I could install blog, CMS, forum and other engines. However, for blogs, especially, I could only install blogs (there were wordpress and b2evolution) in a special folder other than the root (public_html). HOWEVER (well… if I say ‘however’, there must be something worth reading then), yesterday, when I opened the cPanel again, I found that there’s ‘fantastico delux’ there. Wow, this has to be something cool!

Then, I tried to do some clicks and I found out that I could auto-install wordpress with it! And the good news is, the installation files are in the root. Great! And another great thing is that… it’s Wordpress 2.5. The newest, simplified, effectified wordpress. So, I just tried my luck with this webhosting (which actually has helped me a lot as my remote storage, hehehe). I bought a domain (I still don’t wanna tell you the name, guys. You’ll find it sooner or later). And I hope tomorrow afternoon it will be already active! So here we blog again!
